Issues.
Reducing Property Taxes
Homeownership should provide stability, not become a growing financial burden. Rising property taxes are putting increasing pressure on homeowners, seniors, and working families. Dennis supports meaningful property tax relief that keeps more money in residents’ pockets, protects longtime homeowners from being priced out of their communities, and demands greater accountability in how taxpayer dollars are spent.

Lowering Income Taxes
Dennis has a clear record of delivering income tax relief for North Carolinians. When Dennis was first elected, North Carolina’s individual income tax rates reached as high as 7.75%. Today, the rate is just 3.99%.
Dennis has consistently supported policies that allow working families to keep more of what they earn, and he will continue fighting to reduce the tax burden on North Carolinians. Lower taxes mean larger paychecks, stronger household budgets, and more opportunity for families and small businesses across our state.
Abolishing the Grocery Tax
As grocery costs continue to rise, Dennis Riddell supports eliminating North Carolina's tax on groceries, putting more money back in your pocket.
Medication Affordability
Dennis Riddell is leading the fight to make prescriptions more affordable. His plan would allow taxpayers to deduct up to $5,000 in prescription drug costs from their taxes each year.
